APPRECIATION POST 💕

We were so incredibly touched to receive these beautiful flowers from Laura Jane's Pet Food & Supplies on the passing of our beloved Piper 💔

I’ve always gone to Laura Jane’s for all of my pet supplies since the store opened. If she didn’t have what I needed in stock, she would happily order it in for me. Laura and her staff are all so kind, friendly and passionate about their love for animals

They build relationships with their customers, and they support them through the hard times.
Supporting local businesses makes a difference in so many ways.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts 🥰 🥰

It is with deeply heavy hearts, but minds full of beautiful memories that we share the passing of our sweet boy Piper ❤️

Piper passed after an incredible record-breaking 14 years with us. We truly believe he stayed with us so long because of the boundless love, attention and conversations he shared with all of you every day.

Piper spent his entire life at Shadowfax and quickly became far more than a pet. He was the heart of our store. He was a bird of many, many words and even more friends. So many of you would stop in just to visit him, see what new words he had learned or simply check in on him.

It’s hard to believe how one tiny little bird could have such a massive personality and spread so much joy to so many people. He truly loved his life!

Thank you to everyone who ever brought him a treat, whistled back at him or stopped by to share a conversation. You gave him a long, beautiful life packed full of love.

To our legendary little soul, we will miss hearing your tiny wee voice.

Rest easy sweet Piper ❤️
