Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day! Wednesday, October 21st
Check out our amazing Educators in the post learning along side your children.

This year’s Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day theme is Care Counts, to centre the importance of care in early learning and child care and the pride that ECEs and child care workers feel in their work. There is no education without care. “Care Counts” also speaks to the need to value and remunerate those doing care work better – and builds solidarity across care work professions.

The Infant and Child Development program is a family-centred program serving children from birth to age 5 who have a developmental disability and/or risk of developmental delay.

Infants learn about their world by looking, hearing, tasting, touching, smelling and moving. This learning generally follows a predictable path and new abilities are acquired in generally the same order for most children. For those whose progress may be at risk, program professionals support families to identify and plan developmental goals, and work with children to help them achieve those goals.
