Cardi wearing our reworked cropped blazer.

We take full-length vintage suit jackets, crop them, cut and sew a matching belt and belt loops, add a top button and embroidery, and completely rework the fit to create a new silhouette.

What I love most about these blazers is how many different ways you can wear them. Buttoned all the way up, worn open, belted tight, collar up or down. Every little adjustment changes the shape.

Personally, I love dressing them down. There’s something about the contrast of a tailored blazer with a more casual fit that just hits different.

This shirt came from an idea we’ve been thinking about for a long time.

Designing it was a full-circle moment for us. We realized that the idea of the Fountain of Youth has actually been at the heart of Brain On Plants since the beginning, both physically through giving old clothes new life, and spiritually through the way we approach creativity and life itself.

The vintage white button-ups we use are hard to come by. Each one is individually sourced, meticulously cleaned and restored before we hand-print our original artwork on the front and back.

It’s a really personal process from start to finish, and every shirt is a little different.

As always, we’ve only made a handful.

Shout out to Brain On Plants regular johnny who just landed the cover of Fashion Magazine

Johnny has been a long time supporter and collaborator of the BOP family. Johnny is wearing our “Toronto’s Different Tee” in his most recent visual.

We even produced and directed the video for his song “Alchemist”

Zale has written and produced a few other songs with Johnny as well.
