Some things make a skateshop instantly recognizable, even from just one photo. The Focus Skate Store window is one of them, and we wanted to bring a piece of it to our shop.

We didn’t want to just use a vinyl sticker, but to remind ourselves that in an increasingly digital and AI-driven world, there’s still something special about making things by hand, putting time and care into them, just like Focus Skate Store has done with their New Balance Numeric collaboration.

We’ve done a lot of wear tests at Welcome, but this one had something extra special.

Thanks to for letting us use their foot measuring machine and helping us find the perfect fit for our feet.

The machine will be at Welcome this Saturday, and we’ll be giving away several pairs of shoes to lucky winners among everyone who comes by to try it out!
