Did you know…Calzeat is one of Scotland's premier manufacturers of high quality jacquard textile products with an emphasis on design, value and customer service.

Founded in 1974, Calzeat started by selling wool fabric for men's neckties. Within 10 years a substantial business in men's and ladies' apparel fabrics and accessories was established and in more recent years a home interiors collection was developed in the mid 1980s.

The many years of experience in fashion and home furnishings has allowed Calzeat to develop a highly original and exciting collection of both throws and scarves, which are available through our website and also at our retail outlets.

Celtic Knots are the most recognised artwork in Celtic history.

In viewing these beautiful throws you will see we have used a combination of two Celtic knots.

The Circular Knot, seen as a symbol of unity and eternity, along with a square knot known as a Shield Knot to offer protection from evil spirits. Both are referred to as the mystic or endless knots.

The Celtic Knot Stirling is a colour combination of Cloud Blue, Lagoon and Royal Blue 💙

The Jacquard Woven Patchwork Design is a combination of four different dobby weave structures combining herringbones, basket weaves and small lozenge type weave effects.

By bringing these traditional basic weaves together on a jacquard loom it offers our customers a significantly more sophisticated and textured designed throw.

The Royal colourway utilises the classic cool colours of Ecru, Denim Blue and Indigo across the checkerboard weave effect design, a cool combination. 💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
