But we still thought it right to offer him one on Saturday, and staff member Dawn baked up this beauty! We thought it was rather ‘suit’-able, anyway 😬👀

A great day was had by all! 🎉🍰🎈

Thank you everyone who attended Charles’s retirement party at the shop on Saturday. The weather didn’t make it easy, but the turnout was fantastic and we massively appreciate you making the effort to come to see us 🌧️

We’ve also passed on the many kind messages we received on here… as you might imagine, Charles isn’t too big on social media - but he loved reading through them all and would like to thank everyone for their well wishes!

Keep your eyes peeled for more updates from us, and if anyone has any pictures from the day that they’d like to share then we’d love to see them! 📸

💥 Reminder💥

We are hosting Charles’s retirement party at the shop this Saturday (24th October) 🎉🎈 This is an open invite to anyone who has shopped with us before and wants to join us in giving Charles a great send-off into retired life!

He’s due with us at midday and will remain around into the evening time, so plenty of time to pop in and say hello 👋 It’s not a surprise do, so feel free to come along whenever best suits you 🥳

In case you haven’t heard, the shop itself isn’t going anywhere and will continue on just as you know it! We’ll also be open as usual on Saturday too in case you fancy a spot of shopping during your visit 👔👞
