Fellow parents……we’re nearly there!!!!! 🏫 😂
School holidays are always tricky for me to find time to sew, especially when it’s another new pattern that needs all my concentration!!

But when I got a message from a customer whose daughter didn’t want to part with her dressing gown she had long outgrown I could not resist the challenge to make a memory cow. Just look at how absolutely adorable it has turned out! 🩷🐮🩷

The left over fabric was just right to make a cushion so I made one as a gift to say thank you for trusting me to make the cow 🥰

Waking up this morning to such a heartfelt review has really made me smile and got me thinking about this.

I will always feel so honoured that people trust me to make something so precious as their memory animals 🥰 And so very grateful for everyone that recommends me.

I know how irreplaceable the items of clothing that I get handed over to me are. And that’s why I pour so much love and time into every animal I make.

I’m incredibly proud when I think I’ve gone from not being able to even switch a sewing machine on to a few years later helping to comfort people and hopefully making them smile.

NEW PATTERN ALERT 🚨

Just look at this adorable memory cat and dog I’ve made this week 🐶 🐱

I am so excited to add this cat pattern to my sewing library! It has lots of panels so it could be made using several different garments/fabrics for a patchwork look.

Thank you so much to my lovely customer for allowing me to share photos. This cute pair are made from the dressing gown of her precious loved one. I hope they’ll bring you some comfort ###

Today I finished off this adorable pack of memory pups and they’ll soon be on their way to their forever homes 🐶

Thank you so much to my lovely customer, for not only allowing me to share photos, but most of all for trusting me with your sister’s precious items of clothing.

I must say the fluff fight was real on these guys, I had to clean my machine, desk, floor and myself countless times 😂
BUT it was so worth it, just look at the results 😍🥰

So while it’s been quiet on here I’ve been busy whittling away in my sewing cave making lots of precious memory bears. (And forgetting to share them with you all!🤦🏼‍♀️)
Here’s a couple that have gone to their forever home this week 🐻 🧡💙💜

Every single time I make a memory beat or animal it means the world to me because I know how hard it is to let go of such precious clothing.

I love the colours of these bears, they were made from a loved ones dressing gown, t-shirt, trousers and a scarf 🥰
