Over the coming weeks, the 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 & 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 will be visiting schools and community events across Belfast, meeting young people, parents, carers and support professionals to talk about future opportunities and the different routes available after school.
We're looking forward to meeting young people from School, Cedar Lodge School and Park School, as we continue to build relationships across the local community and raise awareness of the opportunities available through Skills for Life & Work.
We know that not every young person has a clear plan for what comes next. That's why Skills for Life & Work is designed to help eligible young people across Belfast and Northern Ireland build confidence, gain qualifications, develop practical skills and prepare for employment, apprenticeships or further learning.
Delivered from our new Belfast training centre, the programme offers vocational pathways in:
🎨 Creative & Digital
💻 IT & ICT
📋 Admin & Management
🛍️ Retail & Customer Care
Alongside vocational learning, young people also develop essential Maths, English, digital, and employability skills to support their future goals.
If you're a young person, parent, carer or professional supporting young people, we’ll also be at the 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗻 & 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗴𝗵 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗝𝗼𝗯 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗰𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝘄𝗹 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿.
Come along, chat with the team, and learn more about the opportunities available through Get Set in Belfast.
