What a weekend at the Girls That Ride Bikes Weekender 💛


I don’t normally work on my birthday… but there was no way I was saying no to this one! 🎉

I joined the 40km gravel ride with around 40 incredible women. It definitely wasn’t flat 😅, but every climb was worth it. We stopped at the loveliest little railway café for coffee and cake, and a few of us rounded off the day with a well-earned drink at the pub. 🍰🍻

The showers were hot, the atmosphere was brilliant, and the whole weekend reminded me why these events are so special.

A huge thank you to the organisers for putting on such a fantastic weekend, and to Claire from for the company and plenty of laughs along the way. 💛

A special shout-out to our ride guides , Sarah and . You looked after everyone so well, and whoever brought the speaker absolutely nailed the soundtrack for the ride! 🎶 It definitely helped the miles (and hills!) pass by.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Trail Bloom stand for a chat, picked up your new favourite pair of shorts or one of the many, many hats (you all definitely had a thing for the hats! 😂). It was lovely meeting so many familiar faces and welcoming plenty of new ones too.

🎙️ It’s finally live! Women on the Trails — the podcast — is out in the world!

I’ve been quietly working on this over the last few months and I’m so excited (and a little bit nervous!) to finally share it with you. It’s basically the car park chats we all love — honest conversations with inspiring women who ride, about the things that actually matter to us. No race results required. 💚

A huge thank you to Adam for all the recording and editing, and for letting me take over his studio — this genuinely wouldn’t exist without him.

Ard Rock 2026… what a weekend 💛⛰️

It definitely wasn’t the weather we’d all hoped for! 🌬️ The wind had other ideas and most of Saturday morning was closed, but somehow that didn’t stop the atmosphere. The event village was still buzzing, riders made the most of every opportunity, and it was brilliant to be part of it.

This year we had a new spot in the event village, right by the stage, and we absolutely loved it. It was amazing seeing so many of you stop by for a chat, try on kit, share your riding stories and introduce yourselves.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to support us—our loyal customers, those who bought their very first piece of Trail Bloom kit, and all the fantastic businesses we caught up with. We had some really exciting conversations over the weekend… watch this space. 👀

And to everyone who’s started following us over the last few days—welcome! We’re so glad you’re here. We’re a women’s mountain bike clothing brand, but more than that, we’re passionate about building a supportive community that helps more women get out on the trails feeling comfortable and confident.
