After a little Pujo pause, we’re back to sharing what keeps our hands busy and our hearts happy. ❤️
Every order that comes to us has a story, and every bridal order deserves that little extra care. For this one, our patron brought us her wedding saree, and we took a tiny piece of it (sometimes, just a few threads are enough!) to dye pure silk fabric to its exact shade.
Once we discussed with her how she wants the blouse to be and the design was finalised, days of kardana, aari, dabka, moti and intricate handwork followed. There’s patience, precision, trial and error, and sometimes redoing a detail until it feels just right.
And now, finally, we’ve reached the cutting and stitching stage. With handwork pieces like these, putting everything together is often the last step, after most of the time and effort has already gone into the details.
Deadlines, countless little adjustments, and so much love goes into every order we take up. Because for us, it’s never just about making a blouse or a dress, it’s about bringing someone’s vision to life, one detail at a time.
We’ll share the finished piece with you once it’s ready and, most importantly, once our bride gets to wear it on her special day. Until then, here’s a little glimpse into the work that goes on behind the scenes.🪡
