With most of my adult workshops, you will receive a pattern in your size for the garment we are making, so you can go home and make it again, and again.

Create a skirt that’s uniquely yours while learning practical sewing skills and connecting with other like minded local ladies.

Over three sessions, you’ll sew your own custom skirt with a choice between a simple mini skirt or a longer wrap skirt.

This workshop is designed for adults who want to build confidence with sewing while enjoying the process of slow fashion. I’ll guide you through each step, taking the stress out of patterns and construction so you can focus on learning new skills, expressing your creativity, and enjoying the connection with new friends.

A few weeks ago I had the honour of judging a wearable arts competition with

There was so much talent that deserved recognition that I decided to add a prize for a one on one session with me. Breeze decided to use our time to explore nature dyes and hapazome (botanical hammering).

We explored changing the PH, painting with lemon juice, moving purples to bright vibrant pinks and browns to peach.

Natural dying is such an fascinating and expansive topic that I love continuing to explore 🌱

Starting the week feeling fresh and organised after finally tidying my messy studio following a few new additions and home renos.

Over the last month, with the help of some great friends, I’ve created an extra room and blocked off the internal entrance to my sewing studio. The easy flow from bedroom to studio was convenient, but it didn’t create much separation between home life and work life. Also with a shuffle around I have made space for my long awaited industrial overlocker, can’t believe I haven’t done this earlier 🤎

For this season of life, a home studio is still ideal, but I’m loving the little bit more separation that a solid wall has brought.
