Meet Antony, the Operations Manager for Oakdale Farm. Prior to joining the dairy goat industry, Antony spent 12 years with Fonterra, gaining extensive experience across New Zealand's dairy sector.
Today, Antony applies that knowledge to support farm operations, continuous improvement initiatives, and the delivery of high-quality milk. He works closely with farm teams to ensure best practice is maintained while supporting the ongoing growth and success of New Zealand's dairy goat industry.

Meet Mark, the Farm Manager at Oakdale Farm.

With more than 25 years of farming experience, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to Oakdale Farm. Originally from South Africa, where he farmed both dairy animals and sugar cane, Mark later moved to New Zealand and transitioned into dairy goat farming.

As Farm Manager at Oakdale, Mark oversees the day-to-day operations of one of Baby Steps' largest supplying farms, ensuring exceptional standards of animal welfare, milk quality, and farm management. Farming is very much a family affair, with his daughter, son-in-law, and son all involved in supporting the farm

Meet Abby, the Farm Services Manager at Oakdale Farm.

Abby has spent more than nine years working within the dairy goat industry, beginning her career on farm before progressing through operational leadership roles and joining the Baby Steps team. Today, she leads the Farm Services and Milk Supply team, supporting 11 goat farms and 20 bovine colostrum farms across New Zealand.

Her hands-on farming background provides valuable insight into animal welfare, milk quality, and farm operations. Abby works closely with farmers and the Baby Steps team to ensure high standards are maintained across the supply chain, helping deliver the quality nutrition families have come to trust. She is passionate about building strong relationships with farming families and connecting the journey from farm to shelf.
