Olga Joan is an Australian label founded in 2018 by the lovely Rebecca Pastro. The brand is an ode to Rebecca’s grandmothers, Olga and Joan who are quoted as “two strong stylish women in their own quiet ways.”

Olga Joan creates easy-to-wear pieces with a focus on thoughtful fabrics, fit and quality finishes. Expect romantic, vintage-inspired silhouettes, soft details and feminine designs, produced in small runs using considered materials and a more thoughtful approach to fashion.

We are so excited to be a proud stockist of Olga Joan. Our space instantly feels lighter and brighter with these beautiful colours on our racks, just in time for spring 🌸🩵

Introducing Venom Gemz to Uncommon. 🧚🏻‍♀️

Handmade with love by the talented Kimmy in her Naarm based studio. Kimmy (originally from Aotearoa NZ!) creates each design using the ancient lost wax casting process which embraces texture, movement and all the beautiful imperfections that makes handmade jewellery special. No two pieces are the same. Materials used are ethically sourced gemstones and sterling silver. Every piece is made to feel organic, genderless, and full of character -  jewellery that’s meant to be worn, loved, and become part of your everyday life rather than kept perfectly polished.

Wow has July been a big month and a time of change for Uncommon. Change can be a scary, especially when you have been comfortable for so long but life is always full of changes and I am so proud of our team for tackling down this month, picking up extra hours while we were short staffed, getting through big deliveries and launches. It has been hard work but we got there and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome two lovely new ladies to our team. And a big thank you to all of our supporters. Whether you have visited us, shopped with us, followed us, recommended us or just enjoy our community and content - thank you! Even the littlest things mean a lot to a small business like us. 🫶🏻
