We’re looking for a Retail Sales Assistant to join our small team at Trouble & Fox - an independently owned fashion boutique in the heart of Nelson.
RETAIL SALES ASSISTANT — PART-TIME
♡ 3–4 days per week
♡ Approximately 20–26 hours
♡ Starting in November
♡ Saturday and full-day availability essential
♡ Flexibility for additional shifts during busy periods
More hours are likely to be available over Christmas and peak summer.
Important: This isn’t a summer casual role. We’re looking for someone who would like to become an ongoing part of our team and will be based in Nelson beyond summer and into 2027.
You must be available to work Saturdays, full days and throughout the peak Christmas and New Year retail period. Unfortunately, school-hours-only availability won’t work for this one!
The role covers sales and styling, customer service, stock control, merchandising, online orders, social content and general shop duties. It is largely sole charge, so you’ll need to be confident working independently, taking responsibility and using your initiative.
