Last, but certainly not least, in my “catch up on all sizes of vests” exercise is size 6–12 months!

This size would make a lovely baby shower, new baby or Christmas gift for a little one due or born around now through to early next year. 🎁

I’ve also made a couple in this size without the hood. These can be a great option as they sit a little flatter in the buggy, and the little one may well have a hat on anyway!

I quite literally stepped out of the sewing studio today to go for a hike.

Today's destination was the Pouākai Hut. The hut is only a year old, and the stained glass windows were a wonderful addition to the build. Even on a grey and drizzly day like today, the hut is bright and colourful. When I arrived today, it was a lovely surprise to see these cultural panels now added too.

Hiking is what I like to do for myself and my own well-being, both mental and physical.

Day 4 of the “TO DO” list… finally! There have been a couple of little interruptions to my plan of getting one size of vests onto the website each day.

Friday was my birthday, so that became a slow day of treats and relaxation. 🎉

Then yesterday I took advantage of the weather window and headed out for a hike before this wild weather arrived — and now we’ve got snow up the Maunga! ❄️🏔️

Today I’m back at it, and all the size 1 vests are now loaded onto the website. There are 5 options available, including the only bunny ear vest that I currently have made up.

And since I’ve shamelessly mentioned my birthday… I won’t say no to a few HAPPY BIRTHDAY wishes in the comments! 😉
