Three Signs Your Shoes Don’t Fit Right👹⚠
If your shoes feel uncomfortable or cause pain, it’s often because they don’t fit properly. Here are 3 key signs to watch for:

1. Cramped or Pinched Toes 👣
A properly fitting shoe should allow your toes to wiggle freely without touching the front of the shoe. If your toes feel squeezed together or pressed against the toe box, the shoe is too small. Long-term toe crowding can lead to bunions, hammertoes, or calluses.

2. Heel Slippage or Instability 👠
When your heel lifts or slips out during walking, the shoe is either too big, too loose, or lacks proper heel support. This can cause blisters, instability, and even long-term foot or joint problems.

Anoka's Waste Reduction & Recycling Board is happy to continue its partnership with Peterson Shoes to collect gently used shoes, now supporting Anoka County Brotherhood Council - ACBC Food Shelf's thrift store to benefit the community.

If you have gently used shoes you would like to donate, please drop them off at Peterson Shoes during regular business hours. This is an ongoing program. Shoes will be weighed and the weight will be recorded to help the city achieve it's annual tonnage goal. It's a win-win for all involved!
