Athens Running Company Athens Running Co is a locally owned shoe store located in Athens and Watkinsville (Wire Park), GA. We now have two locations.

Athens Running Company is the only locally owned and non-franchised running/walking store in the Athens, GA area. We specialize in fitting shoes using video gait analysis, a 3D foot scanner, and our vast experience. When a customer comes in asking about shoes for athletic purposes, we follow a fit process to guarantee the best shoe for each individual. The fitting process is free, and there’s no a

The new Ghost Max 4 is now available at both of our locations. This is a max cushioned version of the Brooks Ghost. Basically it's a softer more comfortable version of the regular Ghost. We believe it to be an awesome shoe for long slow runs, standing all day at work, comfortable walking and traveling shoe. This in comparison to the Ghost Amp which is a lighter and faster version of the regular Ghost.
