500 bags and 225,000 baby oysters brought in from Barnstable today 🦪 These little guys will head off to another farm location until they are big enough to enjoy with a twist of lemon, a mignonette, or old school with just the salty brine from the sea.

A little windy Barnstable oyster tray ASMR for your Tuesday evening listening pleasure. If you look closely you can see the oysters “spitting” out water as they reseal for the outgoing tide. Oysters (not on ice) can live up to two weeks without being resubmerged, luckily for these guys they only have to wait a few hours at most before they can go back to eating, growing, and cleaning our waters.
