I'm a middle school teacher and I got put on a watch list for wearing the wrong t-shirt!

Not joking. Wore a plain shirt with a raised fist to school. By lunch I had two admin emails and a "concerned parent" complaint waiting in my inbox. For a shirt. No slogan, no political name, just a fist.

That's the moment it clicked for me. We've reached a point where a symbol of standing up for something is treated like a threat, and staying silent is treated like the safe, professional choice. Twenty years teaching and I never once got an email for the shirt with the school mascot on it.

So I started designing shirts that say what a lot of us are thinking but were told to keep quiet. Not for shock value. For the people who are tired of shrinking themselves to avoid an awkward conversation in the break room.

If you've ever bitten your tongue and hated yourself for it after, you know exactly what I mean.

Wearing your values out loud, this year.

Some people scroll past. Some people stop and stare. The ones who get it? They already know what side they're on.

Rise and Revolt tees aren't for everyone, and that's the point. They're for the people who are done staying quiet about what matters to them.

If that's you, we've got something worth looking at: https://quiz.riseandrevolt.net/q/quiz-funnel-5a8dbdf8

Things you feel when you wear a protest tee in public... which one hits hardest? 🥹

That moment a stranger reads your shirt and nods at you like you're both in on something.

The quiet pride of knowing you didn't just scroll past the issue.

Feeling slightly nervous before you walk out the door, then completely fine two minutes later.

When someone asks where you got it and the conversation goes somewhere real.

The weird peace of wearing your values instead of just holding them inside.

Which one do you feel the most? Drop it in the comments. And if you're still looking for the right one: https://quiz.riseandrevolt.net/q/quiz-funnel-5a8dbdf8

Hey. You. The one who's been quietly furious for months.

That feeling sitting in your chest right now? The one that tightens every time you scroll past another headline, another story, another thing you can't unsee? That's not anxiety. That's clarity.

You're not overreacting. You're paying attention.

And here's what nobody tells you: the exhaustion you're feeling is part of the plan. Keep people overwhelmed enough and they stay quiet. Keep them doom-scrolling long enough and they forget they ever had something to say.

That's the design. And knowing that is how it stops working on you.

Wearing something that says exactly what you're thinking isn't a small thing. It's a conversation starter on a Tuesday morning. It's the woman across the street nodding at you like she already knows. It's showing up in a world that's counting on you to stay silent.

You don't have to burn yourself out to be in this fight. Sometimes you just have to get dressed.

Our Rise and Revolt tees are for the woman who's done performing calm she doesn't feel. Browse them here: https://quiz.riseandrevolt.net/q/quiz-funnel-5a8dbdf8

And if you know someone else who's been carrying this same quiet rage, tag her below. She'll know exactly why you thought of her. 💛

Most protest tees get confiscated at the door. Here's why. ⬇️

A lot of people don't realize that certain slogans, fonts, or print placements can get your shirt flagged as "threatening" under vague venue or event policies. You wear it in, you get turned away. Or worse, you hand it over and never see it again.

Rise and Revolt designs with that in mind. Every shirt is made to say something real without handing anyone an easy excuse to silence you before you even get inside.

Still wearing it.

That's what protest looks like sometimes. Not a march. Not a megaphone. Just a shirt that says the thing you're tired of saying out loud.

Rise and Revolt tees are made for people who are done performing neutrality. If you've ever swallowed something that deserved a response, you'll get it immediately.

A protest shirt is not a fashion statement. It's a public record of where you stood.

That distinction matters more than most people realize. What you wear in the street, at the march, in the photo that gets shared 400 times, that becomes evidence. Evidence of dissent. Evidence that real people showed up.

Rise and Revolt shirts aren't designed around trends or aesthetics. They're designed around visibility. The kind that makes someone across the street stop and read. The kind that gets photographed. The kind that, years from now, tells a story about who was there and what they believed.

Wearing a message is one of the oldest forms of resistance on record. It signals to strangers that they're not alone. It pulls quiet agreement out into the open. That's not abstract. That's how movements grow.

So if you've been looking for something that does more than look good, this is it. Browse the collection here: https://quiz.riseandrevolt.net/q/quiz-funnel-5a8dbdf8

As someone who's bought a lot of protest merch over the years, most of it ends up in a drawer. Thin fabric, faded slogans, designs that look like they were made in 10 minutes.

Rise and Revolt is different. 🔥

These aren't just t-shirts. The quality actually holds up, the graphics are sharp, and wearing one genuinely feels like a statement rather than a costume.

Thrilled to share that our new collection just dropped and it's ready for whoever's ready to show up.

Wearing a protest shirt you actually believe in hits different than wearing one just to fit in.

A lot of people buy activist merch because it looks cool or because everyone else has it. But deep down, they know the difference. And so does everyone watching.

The shirts that actually start conversations are the ones worn by people who mean it.

Do you think the message on your shirt should reflect something you'd say out loud, or does the design speak for itself? Let me know in the comments. ❤️

There was a time I kept my opinions to myself.

Not because I didn't have them. Because I'd learned that speaking up got you labeled, dismissed, or worse — ignored completely.

So I blended in. Wore what everyone else wore. Said what felt safe.

Then something shifted. I got tired of being invisible on purpose.

I started wearing what I actually believed. Shirts that said the quiet part out loud. And yeah, people stared. Some still do.

But here's what happened — the right people started finding me. Not despite the shirt, because of it. Conversations I never would have had. Connections with people who were also done pretending.

Turns out the thing I thought would isolate me was the thing that brought my people to me.

Rise and Revolt started because of exactly that feeling. The idea that what you wear can be the first word in a conversation you've been wanting to have for years.

If you're done blending in, take a look: https://quiz.riseandrevolt.net/q/quiz-funnel-5a8dbdf8
