I have all my cotton either rolled (yardage) or folded and packed into flat totes (less than a yard/fat quarters). Next is to sort by color. That’s for another day…
Christmas has its own tote, and canvas/tapestry is is another for bags. I need to get it sorted so I know what I have. Next will be the yarn… it’s quite the stash!!!
I was always ambitious and always a dreamer when it came to creating, with very little time (and not very restrained squirreling away stuff)! 😂😂😂

Good Saturday morning friends! 🤗
It’s gonna be a beautiful day and hopefully you’ll get out and enjoy the sunshine.

I’ve been thinking a LOT for weeks about where I’m heading and to be honest, I still don’t have a concrete answer. Himself tells me it’s ADHD, and I say it’s a creative busy brain. 😂

All I do know is that when I was young I learned to sew on a tiny machine my parents bought for me. Then I took home ec in school and learned many skills, and when my boys were young I sewed clothes for them and for myself. I also did alterations. As life went on things got busy, of course, and my time at the machine dwindled to almost nothing. Also, with a family of six, there was no room to leave the machine readily accessible! I wouldn’t change a thing about that.

Now things in my life have shifted again, as things are always changing, and I have a room I can dedicate to be my sewing space. I’m so very happy to become reacquainted with my first creative love, sewing. I still love to crochet and knit…

All that said, I’m dreaming, planning, and learning so that I can redesign LYD to reflect my love for all fiber arts.
