Wanted to try out three point placement on the new Bernina 790 Ultra. Thought this placemat pattern would be perfect. It’s modas new Christmas fabric. Found it at Becky's Sewing Center in CdA. Used the magnetic hoop and look how precariously that is hooped on top! Did all 5 triangles in one hooping and they came out perfectly! I think it’s going to be a class at Becky’s Sewing and Fabrics in Coeur d’Alene. There is a great bonus table runner I made too, out of all the scraps from the half square triangles. It’s pretty cute too! Go in and check it out!

Our new Stitchwise project of the year! A bench pillow. So many fun techniques. Couching, 3 point placement, bisr, rulerwork, jumbo stitch, label in the hoop, just to mention a few! Coming to Bernina dealers 2026-27! It’s called Quilted Creation! Ask for it at your local dealer!

Had fun with this Speedy Serger Quilt pattern I found on the by my friend at Bernina, Mary Beck. I used a jelly roll by Benartex and zipped it right up on my serger. Used a built in design on my by to quilt it with a magnetic hoop. It was a lot of hooping but designs came out perfectly aligned! Did you know that BERNINA is the only embroidery machine that will still embroider what is in the hoop, even when the rest of the design is outside the hoop? So convenient on the edges let me tell you!

My friend Deb Ayers and I took a class Becky's Sewing Center for the By yours truly, annies zip it up 2.0 bag (not for the faint of heart) it was my first class in years! Sew much fun to sew in a group and with friends! My friend Georgia Evanson led the class. I promised her I’d try to be a good student. I’m sure she was shocked I showed up prepared! I used my endless embroidery and magnetic hoop on my to quilt the fabric. It’s tilda’s new blue line. Such sweet fabric! I had been saving this Renaissance Ribbons for years to use in a special project. It was hard work but “got ‘er done”. Only possible with my Bernina feet: 10D, 52D, 55, 97D! It takes an army to make a beautiful bag! Thanks to Becky's Sewing Center for the machine loan so I could play!
