I love spooky season! I learn about spooky lakes from Geo Rutherford I go with my family to a local farm each year to do the corn mazes and tractor rides, and we dress up for Halloween! What’s your favorite part of October? Lmk down below!

It’s almost dragoncon time and I’ll be missing out this year! I’ve started my new job teaching at UNC so my focus is on that for now. I love that I get to share the knowledge I’ve been given. Thinking of dragoncon made me think of when I debuted my umbreon fairy based on the artwork of 🌸Sunset Dragon🌸 and I love these photos by Amiephotos.

Details! I spent an inordinate amount of time on the details of this costume. I hand dyed the silk for the flowers and leaves, I patterned and constructed each flower and leaf. I painted the wings by hand to match the drawing. This was the first time I made a bunny suit and I made 4 mockups before making the final version (normally only 2 mockups is more than enough for me). I hand sculpted the moon details for the headband and necklace. I learned jewelry making techniques for the necklace. So many details!
