So EXCITED and PROUD of Liberty Cunningham - Trick & Roman Rider and her team!! Enjoy, safe travels!!
For months I’ve been hinting at a BIG SECRET. It’s been a tough one to keep under wraps as it’s HUGE NEWS!!! 📣
Today is the BIG REVEAL!!!
After 6 months of waiting, I can officially announce that I’m taking my performances to INTERNATIONAL soil!!! 🌎
In April I was contacted by the US Embassy in Argentina. The American Ambassador to Argentina had seen my work on social media. He wanted to hire me to perform at a rodeo that the US Embassy was hosting in Buenos Aires. How absolutely cool is THAT?!! 🇦🇷
My VISA has been approved, contract is signed, plane tickets and lodging are confirmed, and school absences are okayed! ✈️✍️
I leave in just 10 days for SOUTH AMERICA!!! 🙌🏻
This is an opportunity of a lifetime and truly one of the biggest moments of my career!!! I’m soooo honored to have been selected to represent the rodeo industry in the United States and the entire North American trick riding industry!! 🔥
This will be a unique opportunity. I will NOT be taking my own horses (just my saddle, pads and reins). They do NOT have trained trick and Roman riding horses in Argentina.
Instead, I will be arriving early and will have just ONE WEEK to jump ride and train 2-3 horses for trick riding and Roman riding. I’ll then perform on these unfamiliar, rookie horses in front of a crowd of several thousand people!! It’ll be a challenge, but one that I’m up for!! I’ve trained my own horses and helped others train their horses. I know I can do it!! This time it’ll just be quicker. 🐴🐴🐴
Even more cool is that when the US Embassy contacted me, they asked me two things — my availability for October and for referrals of other American rodeo talents. They selected their event dates after my Ohio event which was already locked in on my schedule. They wanted ME to be part of their rodeo!!! ❤️
But if that wasn’t a big enough honor, they also trusted me to give recommendations for a rodeo clown, trick roper, mounted shooter, announcer, barrel racers, and bronc riders!! Some of my friends and family in the industry were selected to also be part of the rodeo!!! Even cooler!!! 🎉
I’m so excited for this amazing opportunity!!! I’ll be in Argentina for almost two weeks. Much of that time will be spent training horses, rehearsing and performing. Catching a polo match is also on my to-do list as Argentina is the #1 country for that equine discipline in the world!!!! 🐎
This trip is back to back with my trip to Ohio for the The Horseman’s Mission event. I literally get back from Ohio and leave for Argentina in the same day!! That means, when we leave for Ohio on Tuesday, that I won’t be back until NEXT MONTH!!!
October 2026 is going to be EPIC!!! I’m a small-town Kansas girl that had big dreams of being a trick rider for as long as I can remember. I am so blessed to be living that dream bigger than I ever even imagined!!! 🙌🏻
