Kansas City… here we come! ✈️🤍

Today, Madison and I are heading to Kansas City for Elevate, Essense of Australia’s Bridal Style Summit, and we could not be more excited!

Over the next few days, we’ll be learning from some of the best in the bridal industry, connecting with other boutique owners, and hand-selecting new gowns from the upcoming Stella York and Essense of Australia collections for Blush Bridal Studio.

Trips like this give us the opportunity to grow, be inspired, and bring fresh ideas and beautiful new gowns home to our brides. We’re also looking forward to experiencing downtown Kansas City together, finding some incredible BBQ, and hopefully tracking down some real sweet tea. 😉

✨ One week from today, Madison and I will be headed to Kansas City for the Essense Elevate, a Bridal Style Summit Event!

This is one of our favorite trips of the year because it’s so much more than selecting new gowns. We’ll spend several days learning from some of the best in the bridal industry through trainings, workshops, and conversations that help us continue creating the very best experience possible for our Blush brides.

Then comes one of the most exciting parts… choosing the newest collections from Stella York and Essense of Australia that will soon be making their way to Blush Bridal Studio! We can’t wait to see what’s next and bring home gowns we know you’re going to fall in love with.

And if we’re being honest… we’re also pretty excited to experience downtown Kansas City for the first time. 😍

Because no trip to Kansas City would be complete without authentic Kansas City BBQ… and REAL sweet tea. (Oregon, we need to have a talk. 😉)

We’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes moments, sneak peeks, and maybe even a few favorite gowns while we’re there, so be sure to follow along!

I’ve been struggling to find the right words for today.

If I’m honest, the Fourth of July used to be my favorite holiday.

When my kids were little, our whole neighborhood celebrated together. We’d spend the day barbecuing, the kids would swim until they were exhausted, everyone would pull lawn chairs into the street, and somehow fireworks always seemed to find their way into the neighborhood. 😂 Those are some of my favorite memories because they weren’t really about the fireworks—they were about family.

As I’ve gotten older, some of those traditions have faded, and I’ll admit that makes me a little nostalgic. But today reminded me that what I really loved about the Fourth was never just the celebration. It was what we were celebrating.

I still believe America is one of the greatest blessings God has given us. I believe in faith. I believe family is worth protecting. I believe every person is created with value and that, through hard work, perseverance, and God’s grace, we have opportunities here that people around the world only dream about.

None of us can control everything happening around us, but we can choose to be grateful. We can gather with the people we love. We can teach the next generation why this day matters. And we can pray that God continues to guide and bless this incredible nation.

So today, we’ll celebrate. We’ll be thankful. We’ll hug our families a little tighter. And we’ll never take our freedom for granted.

Today is a very special day… our sweet Hannah is getting married! 🤍

One of the greatest blessings of Blush has never been the dresses—it’s the people.

Somewhere along the way, this team became so much more than coworkers. We celebrate together, support one another, laugh a lot, and show up for each other through every season. We truly are family.

And that’s exactly how we hope every bride feels when she walks through our doors.

POV: It’s Friday at Blush… and we’re fully booked for Saturday. 😅💨

Steamers are steaming.
Mirrors are getting their final wipe-down.
Dresses are being fluffed.
Suites are being reset.
Someone’s probably dancing.
Someone’s definitely laughing.

It may look like a little bit of chaos behind the scenes, but every bit of it is done for one reason…

✨ So when you walk through our doors tomorrow, everything feels calm, beautiful, and ready for one of the biggest days of your wedding journey.

Some brides hold a special place in your heart, and Hannah is definitely one of them. 🤍
We’ve known Hannah and her family since she was little, so helping her find the dress for one of the biggest days of her life was an honor we won’t soon forget.
Hannah looked absolutely beautiful in our Everly gown, customized with off-the-shoulder straps that made the dress uniquely hers. But what made the day even more meaningful was having her brother, Noah, officiate the ceremony—a beautiful reminder that the best weddings are filled with the people who know and love you most.
Hannah, thank you for letting us be a small part of your love story. Watching little girls grow into beautiful brides is one of the greatest gifts of what we do. 🤍

Well… we’re a day late. 🤦🏼‍♀️ But some people are worth celebrating a little longer. 🤍

To the dads, stepdads, grandpas, and father figures who have loved, supported, encouraged, and occasionally reminded us how quickly time flies—thank you.

One of our favorite wedding day moments is seeing a father’s face when he sees his daughter as a bride. It’s a moment filled with pride, love, and more than a few happy tears.

Happy (slightly belated) Father’s Day to all the incredible fathers who have helped shape the women we have the privilege of serving every day. 💕
