One of our traditions started on a snowy North Dakota Christmas Eve while visiting my parents. My daughter was all rosy cheeked from playing outside in the snow, a novelty for her as we rarely get play worthy snow in our area of North Carolina. Huddled up in a blanket she frequently checked in where Santa was. It’s a memory I’ll cherish and can’t wait to see my granddaughter following her mother’s footsteps.
