There is a hyper fixation lately on where I get my inventory. 🧐 I guess as stores like this become fewer and farther between, we are becoming rarer and our wares less typically found! I have had more people ask me in the past 3 months than all 24 years combined!!

Most of my inventory is new and I buy from companies that sell to the trade. For example, the necklaces below are from a small company called Fern & Filigree. They sell to the retail trade with minimum orders. There’s no shortage of those, and just this week found sales reps flyers in my mailbox. 🤪 I do not go to estate sales or buy from the public. If you want to sell your things, One Woman’s Trash, the consignment part, is perfect for that!

I like to think I have a good eye for separating the wheat from the chaff in the gift and home decor world after all this practice!

Amber’s Autumn Shop was the very first store I ever thought of, at the age of 11. 😌 My mom and I wanted to grow pumpkins and gourds and make fall crafts and all that fun fall stuff and open it in a barn on our property, that we never got. 🥹 So I’m living out the dream a few decades later, although I can’t grow gourds to save my life. At least I have plenty of fake ones!

Thank you for a wonderful kickoff to fall yesterday with the opening of Amber’s Autumn Shop!!! Tomorrow I’ll tell you why it’s named that, other than the obvious. 🤪

I’m catching up after a very intense few weeks overhauling the different rooms in the store and will be back tomorrow 12-6!!
