Today marks Fifty-One Ten's ONE YEAR anniversary!
Just one year ago, Amber and I were on one of our nightly walks, chatting about life. Somehow the conversation turned to the little side hustle I had making shirts for friends and family. I loved being creative, helping people bring their ideas to life, and creating something special for others. I knew I was ready for more, but taking the leap into starting a business felt scary.
Then there was Amber. She loves clothes (maybe not quite as much as purses 😉), knows labels better than most, and can shop like a professional. We put our heads together and decided to go for it.
We came up with Fifty-One Ten, inspired by Psalm 51:10, my verse for the year. Somehow it just fit.
We created our LLC, signed up for our first event, sought advice from other boutique owners, and got to work. What a year it has been! We've learned about inventory (too much and too little), taxes (still the worst 😅), QuickBooks (we're trying), vendor events, small business life, and the incredible community that surrounds it all.
Most importantly, we've met so many amazing people along the way. From fellow small business owners and event organizers to customers who have become friends, and our wonderful regulars who continue to support us—we are beyond grateful.
None of this would be possible without all of you.

✨ All Glory to God for an amazing day! ✨
As small business owners, sometimes it feels easier to keep the hard things to ourselves. Sharing the struggles, setbacks, and uncertainties can be vulnerable. But this week, we felt led to share what happened to us last weekend, and from the moment we did, we were overwhelmed by the love and support.
The shares, the likes, the comments, the messages, the prayers—you all wrapped your arms around us in ways we never expected. ❤️
And then today happened.
Y'all showed up for us in a BIG way. We were blessed beyond measure. Fellow vendors stopped by with words of encouragement. Customers dug through racks and bins, finding treasures and helping us move so much inventory. Friends and family came out to support us. Everywhere we turned, we were reminded of how incredible this community truly is.
And despite the rain in the forecast, God gave us a beautiful morning to start the day—a reminder that even after the storm, there is still beauty to be found. ☀️
We are so incredibly grateful. Thank you for supporting our small business, for cheering us on, for praying for us, and for reminding us that we are not walking this journey alone.
