I wanted to address something that comes with running my alteration business from home—pet hair.
Many of you know I have animals, and I've always been upfront about that. Before every fitting, I thoroughly prepare and clean the changing and fitting areas to minimize pet hair as much as possible. I also use lint rollers constantly, store finished garments in garment bags, and take every precaution I can to keep your clothing clean and protected.
That said, I work from my home, not a commercial storefront, and despite my best efforts, an occasional pet hair may find its way onto a garment. It's simply the nature of a home environment.
If having a completely pet-free environment is important to you, a commercial alteration shop may be a better fit. If you're looking for someone who genuinely loves what she does, works incredibly hard, and treats every garment with the utmost care and respect, I'd be honored to work with you.
Thank you to all of my amazing customers for supporting my small business and trusting me with your special garments. It truly means the world to me. ❤️
As for Bear: my best friend RIP. No more of his hair is littered around.
