Central Iowa Junk Jaunt is coming up this weekend! Jewell will be the place to be! Central Iowa Junk Jaunt

We are just days away from the start of the CIJJ Vintage Roadtrip! The features of each of the 21 shops are rolling out on both our FB & Instagram pages! Maps are up and ready for you to download & print - go to centraliowajunkjaunt.com. All of the stops in each of the small towns and surrounding countryside are filling their sheds, barns, historic schoolhouses and brick & mortar shops just for this event! And the coffee shops, cocktail bars & breweries on the map are prepping to make sure you are caffeinated, hydrated and ready for a roadtrip! There is much yet to do but we can’t wait - share the map, share this event post, just share away so we can make this the best Vintage Roadtrip yet!

Join us on Main Street in Jewell, Iowa during the Central Iowa Junk Jaunt! Take a delightful drive on U.S. Highway 69 or sprint on "Monarch" Highway 35 to discover 7 STOPS (and more)!

We feature cleverly curated vintage, handmade goods, great gifts, fabulous flowers, coffee breaks, the cutest treats and eats, and the "Happiest Hour" at Juniper & Olive Co.

We are SO EXCITED for Central Iowa Junk Jaunt! I can’t wait for y’all to see how dang charming and festive downtown Jewell is!

This weekend not only will it be the junk jaunt, but Saturday the fabulous Jewell Farmers Market will be set up!

It’s Central Iowa Junk Jaunt week!

As we count down to the big weekend, we’re continuing to spotlight the amazing stops along the Junk Jaunt map.

Just outside Ames, you’ll find two longtime favorites that have become must-visit destinations on our vintage road trip:

is on the prairie to the east of Ames and you can find Dakota Junktion west of Ames, just beyond the city limits.

These stops are known for their authentic antiques, vintage treasures, mid-century finds, beautiful quilts, and unique collectibles. Whether you’re hunting for that perfect piece or simply enjoying the journey, both locations offer plenty to discover.

Even better, each stop captures the charm of Iowa’s countryside, making the experience just as memorable as the finds themselves.
