October 15th 2008 we opened Guava in the space by IGA (remember the grab bags!) We literally taught ourselves how to use a cash register the night before opening. No idea what we were doing (still don’t) but we’ve been having fun ever since. Besides a pandemic, some major floods, some shave ice spills, and that one time a customer shopped n**e it’s been great. To celebrate we are having a party this THURSDAY OCTOBER 15th. We’ll have bubbly and grandma Denise’s guava cupcakes and most importantly we are offering 18% OFF everything. Come say hello.
US at our opening party 2008 (or some time close to that). I (Liz) looked kinda tan even next to Kai!
