Cloak & Dagger Creations

Cloak & Dagger Creations We create warm, durable, cloaks and other historically inspired clothing for daily use or special ev Many of those original cloaks are still in use today.

More than 30 years ago, I started making cloaks because I wanted to provide a way for people to keep warm at outdoor events. With our cloaks, clients connected to history with a style that could also take them into the future. They represent the idea that Great Style is Timeless. Clothes don't need to be disposable - they can be made to last. If the item you seek isn’t readily available, contact u

s about custom orders to start the process of creating a garment to your specifications. Creating a custom garment requires fabric and design specifications, measurements, and a reasonable budget for your project. We are willing to consider a wide range of projects but may turn down projects due to time constraints, resource availability, experience, or which will involve materials we do not enjoy working on. Please do not ask us to create a cheaper copy of someone else’s work. For those who sew at home, we sell our trim and cloak clasps. We also have belts and circlets available as finishing touches. Some specific information:
Cloaks are the core of our business. The basic cloak styles: Full circle cloaks, half circle cloaks, shaped shoulder cloaks, and ruana-style cloaks. We make them in many different fabric weights and a variety of lengths. Whether you’re looking for a casual length cloak to pair with jeans, a warm cloak for outside wear or something long and mysterious to complete a fantasy ensemble, we have something for you! All of our cloaks are unisex, and categorized by neck size. We always want to get Measurements to get the best fit possible.

* Yes, we know Jedi Robes are frequently called “Jedi Cloaks.” However, in technical design terms, anything with sleeves is a robe, so our Jedi “cloaks” are in the robes category. Similarly, Holocaust cloaks have sleeves and are defined for our workflow as robes. Monk, Mage, Ring Wraith, Jedi, and Holocaust Cloaks
We make robes of all sorts here, for Jedi knights, real monks of various orders, and ritual purposes. There are a variety of hood styles, all of which can be made detachable: regular, pointed, small liripipe and long liripipe. Robes can be made to your specifications regarding length, fabric type, and fabric weight. Our robes are made to be functional garments and are suitable for daily use. About Gowns and Chemises
We’ve been limiting ourselves to simpler easy-to-fit 12th century style gowns. These are easy to wear gowns slip over your head and can suit a range of body shapes within a size range. Pair a gown with a circlet and a belt to complete the look. About Hooded Cowls
With less fabric and less actual weight than our cloaks, hooded cowls are an excellent way to add extra warmth or water resistance to your outfits. A range of sizes, weights, and fabrics are readily available. A hooded cowl slips over the head, and pairs with most outfits or a collared cloak from our available stock. Alternatively, you can wear it with your modern wardrobe and add some medieval style to your everyday life. About Tunics & Vests
Saxon, Norman, Viking, and Pictish Tunics, plus a variety of Vests
Tunics are a great way to add some medieval spirit to your life! Usually made in linen or a lightweight wool, they slip over your head and can be cinched with a belt. Available in a variety of color combinations. We support multiple subcultures, and one of the groups is steampunk. Check out our elegant reversible brocade vests for evoking Victorian sensibilities. We also support the dance community with skirts in a variety of fabrics, styles and lengths.
