A place where creativity, confidence, friendships, and lifelong skills are stitched together every single day. 💕

Our website is officially LIVE, and Fall 2026 classes are now open for booking! Whether your child has never touched a sewing machine or is ready to grow their skills, we’d love to welcome them into our Sewing Bar family.

🧵✨ Let’s talk Adult Sewing at Sewing Bar! ✨🧵

With our new studio comes exciting improvements… and our brand new website is ALMOST ready to go live! 🎉

Whether you’re brand new to sewing or looking to get back into it, there’s a place for you at Sewing Bar.

Here’s how it works:

✂️ Step 1: Intro to Sewing
Every beginner starts with our 2.5-hour Intro to Sewing class. You’ll learn how to thread and operate your machine, all about the supplies you’ll need, and complete your very first project—a tote bag you’ll actually use! This class is required before joining any adult workshops (if you’re new to sewing or a bit rusty).

🪡 Step 2: Adult Sewing Workshops
Our one- and two-day workshops are the perfect way to continue building your skills while creating fun seasonal and specialty projects. Workshop themes change throughout the year, so there’s always something new to make!

🪡 Private lessons will not be available for the first few months as we settle into our new studio and focus on launching our kids weekly group classes. Once we’ve gotten our bearings and everything is running smoothly, we’ll begin opening a limited number of private lesson spots based on availability.

Looking for a fun night out with other creative women? Bring your current sewing project and spend the evening sewing, chatting, and making new friends! Our monthly Sewcial Club is free to attend, and you’ll have access to Sewing Bar’s machines and studio space while you work.

We can’t wait to welcome you into the studio and help you discover just how fun sewing can be! 🪡💕

🧵✨ Let’s talk Kids Sewing Lessons! ✨🧵

With our new studio comes exciting improvements… and our brand new website is ALMOST ready to go live! 🎉

Here’s how Sewing Bar works:

✂️ Step 1: Intro to Sewing
Every new student begins with our Intro to Sewing class, where they’ll learn the basics of the sewing machine and complete their first 2 projects. This class is required before joining any weekly lessons.

🪡 Step 2: Weekly Sewing Sessions
Our weekly lessons are now offered in 8-week sessions, with our first session beginning August 24 and second session starting October 26!

Students are placed into small groups by age:
🧸 Ages 6–8: Little Sewers
🪡 Ages 9–11
🪡 Ages 12–14
🪡 Ages 15–18

When you register online, you’ll pay a one-time registration fee that reserves your student’s spot and includes their personalized Sewing Bar Progress Book and lesson binder they’ll use as they advance through our new curriculum.

💛 Love it and want to continue? Students enrolled in a session will receive priority registration before enrollment opens to the public for the next 8-week session October.

🎄🐣🎃 Can’t commit to weekly classes? No worries! Throughout the year we’ll also be offering monthly holiday workshops and special project classes, so there’s always a fun way to keep sewing.

Just like that, two years of teaching from my home studio has come to an end. 🤍

What a perfect way to close this chapter☀️ with a fashion show from our Coastal Cuties Beach Camp, watching these girls proudly show off everything they created this week.

I’m so thankful for every student, every family, and every memory made within this home. This house will always hold a special place in my heart, but I can’t wait to see what this next chapter has in store for new Sewing Bar Studio!🧵✨
