Three Tweeds You Should Know. Timeless texture and tradition — not all tweed is created equal.
Harris is handwoven in the Outer Hebrides. Dense, a little coarse, built for weather. This is the sport coat you reach for first on a cold Saturday.
Donegal is known for its flecks, small knots of colored wool caught in the weave. From across the room it reads as one warm brown. Up close, it gives you a dozen colors. In a three-piece, it holds its own at a long lunch and on the walk home after.
