These little fabric ghosts were just added to the shop! They are made with vintage stiffened fabric and would be so cute on a mantel or shelf! 👻💙

I sold a couple of larger furniture pieces from my space at Hunt and Gather Antiques and Vintage yesterday. That means today was a booth refresh day!

I took in the leopard print chair I just finished, a cute round side table with cane doors, and an amazing green tapestry!

Occupational hazards of being a vintage seller: lit a whole chunk of my hair on fire mid-photo shoot. 🕯️🔥📸

I had a candle lit for photos, leaned over to hang something on the wall, and literally set my hair on fire... took out a chunk of hair. Dang it, I just washed it too!

Things they don't put in the vintage reseller handbook:

✅ Watch out for rusty nails
✅ Mind the fragile glass
❌ DO NOT SET YOUR HAIR ON FIRE WITH STAGING CANDLES

On the bright side... I have enough hair that no one will notice. 🫣

I was walking around Target 🎯 the other day waiting for my prescription to be filled and I kept seeing things that I have for sale in my Etsy vintage shop on the Target shelves. They are trying so hard to make things that LOOK vintage and I thought... Why buy new when you can buy the real deal?

I snapped some pictures of things that I have in my shop, which do you like better?

Another little booth refresh to incorporate a few more fall 🍂 goodies and reposition the upcycled kitchen cart toward the street view. I'm hoping it will sell soon 🤞 because I have a super cool new reupholstered chair 🪑 to take in.

I love using vintage to create upcycled and repurposed pieces for the shop... like this fun Halloween wreath using an antique wood picture frame! It features a repurposed Johanna Parker pumpkin figurine, "eek" letters with orange velvet polka dots, a cute ghost👻 peeking from behind, and an adorable handmade button spider 🕷 with rick-rack legs!
