I started my shop when I was in my senior year of college. I go the idea to start an Etsy shop when I was put on bed rest for 3 weeks during my senior year. So while on bed rest I thought I would do something relaxing and enjoyable. My mother taught me how to crochet when I was a young girl so decided to sneak out and go to the Joanne Fabrics and to get back into crocheting. While on bed rest I began making scarfs, hats and blankets. I gave a lot of them away but also gave them to my siblings as Christmas gifts. After I received numerous comments and questions about my scarfs I said hey this could be an extra source of income for me. I also crochet and donate some of my work to people of need. So I took a leap of faith and started ShauniWraps. I mainly make scarfs and shalls, I can also make blankets. I typically make everything to order. There are some scarfs that I make duplicates of because they happen to be the color/pattern that a lot of people love. If I use a pattern for a scarf you will always find the link to the pattern in the description.
