Second week of school over here and my mission (courtesy of my husband and therapist) is to take more time for myself now that both kids are in school. The youngest does half days so I have approximately 3 hours to myself each day.

Week 1: do nothing ✅ (it was actually harder than I expected)
Week 2: get back to the gym (immediate endorphins, loved every second)
Week 3: find some kind of routine idk. Haven’t gotten that far yet.

All that to say that I took myself on a little date to the book store and the bagel shop and it was just what I needed.

Thanks to Needful Books & Things for the amazing giveaway bag! And to Bagel Base for the delicious bagel sandwich. So tasty!

If I may- let me convince you to do things alone, quietly, on your own schedule and give yourself a few moments to feel normal again ❤️

Today I had the absolute pleasure to help my daughter’s Girl Scout troop with our end of year party. We tie dyed tees and once they’re washed and dried I’ll print on them (stay tuned!) but it was so fun to be able to do a craft with them and share some art knowledge with these enthusiastic 6 year olds. And of course it had to be tshirts 💅 you know me 🤷🏻‍♀️🫶
