Paris, Oct 2 - 5 : Scarves, Scarves, Scarves!

1. Yaser Shaw: My personal travel scarf really wanted to be photographed with this gorgeously weathered front door. Looking at how well the colors matched her weave and embroidery, I could tell she has really exceptional tonal sensibilities. I saw Yaser in Paris and brought back a few of her friends for you too, they’re live on our website and ready to be admired!

2. Sabina Savage: Illustrator and Designer Sabina Savage in her Paris Showroom, presenting her upcoming collection of Silk Scarves and sharing with us the fables guiding her SS27 visuals.

3. Nohla: A new designer we’re welcoming to our sister store Wild Life in 2027, focusing on throws and oversized scarves 🤫

Anaconda: Opening to Light

Since 1987, Monica Rossi has made Anaconda from her studio in Milan, Italy. She cuts and links the gold by hand, a technique called ajouré that leaves the metal open and open to light. The antique gold runs soft, the pale tone of ch*****ne, while baroque scrollwork settles against clean geometric lines.

Inside certain pieces, a message is hidden. It might be engraved along the inner curve of a ring, folded into a medallion, or rolled into a leaf of gold. Awaiting to be uncovered like a small reliquary. What it holds stays between the gold and the one who wears it.

Take a closer look at Anaconda’s hand-made jewelry in store and online at SantaFeDryGoods.com

Water, Earth & Sun: Pippa Small

“Rocks are silent, still. They’re created deep within the earth. They’re primal. Those amulets I carried in my pocket represented memories, happy places, happy moments.”

—Pippa Small

Aquamarine holds most of the green light in Pippa Small’s newest arrivals. Depending on the cut, it shifts between pale sea glass green and deep coastal blue. Amber, pink tourmaline, fire opal, and tiger’s eye pull the palette towards earth and sun.

On the abalone pendant, an iridescent shell sits cool and slick against rough-cut aquamarine, a smooth handmade gold bead resting between them.

Tanzanite runs darker, almost violet. Kyanite sits between the two. Where all three meet on a single cord necklace, the blues read as different depths of the same water.

The beginning of the International Folk Art Market is here. It’s a special time in Santa Fe—the kick off of our high season—when artists and crafts people travel from all over the world to share techniques and traditions from their communities. We join this celebration of craft with a handful of in-store events. If you happen to be in Santa Fe this July 7-11th, we hope you’ll come visit us for a Pop-Up with Injiri. Designer Chinar Farooqui and her close-knit team have sent more than 300 pieces for us to share with you.

New Arrivals: Noguchi Bijoux

Naohiko Noguchi founded his eponymous line in Tokyo in 2004. His grandmother had received a ring he made; he recognized then that jewelry could carry an intimacy he hadn’t yet encountered. In the latest collection, the stones sit against white gold with dark, oxidized finishes. The metal holds light rather than flashing it back. The work harmonizes with the wearer rather than announcing itself.

“A subtle sense of shadow and a natural, gentle shimmer.” — Naohiko Noguchi
