Jules' Junktiques My love of vintage items started in the early 1980's when I started collecting funky cool things from the 1950's and 1960's. Montgomery Cross Road.

I now have 3 booth spaces devoted to Mid-Century items at Picker Joe's Antique Mall, Savannah, GA. I later went through a more "normal" antique-collecting phase. Now I've gone full circle back to the mid-century items! I have 3 "stores" inside Picker Joe's Antique Mall and Vintage Market in Savannah, Georgia, which is located at 66 W. One features Mid-Century Modern furniture and decor, another is

This fabulous vintage SALTON serving cart has all the right retro details — warm walnut tones, sleek metal framing, clear vintage casters, a lower serving shelf, and that fantastic etched glass top with a geometric maze-like design.

Originally designed as a heated serving cart, the cord is missing and the heating function has not been tested, so we’re selling it for its good looks and versatility! It makes a fantastic bar cart, cocktail cart, serving trolley, or entertaining station — and those clear wheels are such a great vintage detail.

A little piece of 1970s design history!

This vintage Arthur Umanoff wine rack combines a black iron frame with warm leather bottle slings for that unmistakable Mid-Century Modern look. Even better, we have documentation showing this style of wine rack featured in a 1971 newspaper article, when wine racks were apparently the fashionable new thing for the home.

Functional, sculptural, and just plain cool — Umanoff’s designs have a way of making everyday objects look like art.

Besides Mid-Century Modern, Art Deco is probably my next favorite style. I love the streamlined shapes, gleaming chrome, bold geometry, and that unmistakable sense of glamour. It’s amazing how pieces designed nearly a century ago can still look so modern today. Art Deco really was ahead of its time.
