Hi Springfield Friends!
It has been a couple years but I will be teaching sewing lessons out of my home this July - early August, 2023!
My name is Grace Fahey & for those of you who don’t know I have been sewing for 28 years and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, worked in the Fashion industry for a few years as a Technical Designer before moving back home where I have been making custom clothing for people, costuming shows for local theater & teaching Fashion (70+ students/five days a week) at a local High School since September of 2018.
Classes will be twice a week on Tuesdays & Thursdays for four weeks, starting July 11th. 3 spots per time period.
9-10am – Kids (10-18yr)
10:15-11:15am – Kids (10-18yr)
1-2pm – Kids (10-18yr)
2:15-3:15pm – Kids (10-18yr)
3:30-4:30pm – Kids (10-18yr)
6-7pm – Adult Beginner Class (18+)
7:15-8:15pm – Adult Intermediate Class (18+)
*Additional Classes may be added based on demand*

Beginner Classes:
DETAILS - Learn how to sew! No experience needed!
- 1hr, twice a week for 4 weeks
- $220.00/ half due to reserve spot – other half due at time of first lesson.
- Sewing machines & sewing tools supplied by teacher.
- Kids - will need to supply the fabric/thread/cord/elastic for a Drawcord Bookbag & PJ Pants Project (details handed out at first class).
- Adults – will need to supply the fabric/thread/zipper for a Make-up Bag & PJ Pants Project (details handed out at first class).
*If you have a child who already knows the basics but is interested in taking lessons please let me know & we can work something out!*
Adult Intermediate Class:
