Client Spotlight: Liz 🤍

Some weddings leave a lasting impression because of the details, and creating Liz’s wedding wardrobe was one of those projects I’ll never forget.

Working with someone who shares a love for thoughtful design made every decision even more meaningful. Together, we created pieces that were beautifully connected. From altering her regal ceremony gown and creating a custom scarf, to designing a custom reception gown and custom clutch made from the remaining fabric. Along the way, we tucked in sentimental details that made each piece feel deeply personal.

My favorite part of custom design isn’t simply creating something beautiful. It’s creating pieces that tell a story, reflect the bride, and become keepsakes long after the wedding day has passed.

Part 6: Final Presentation & Fitting

This is the pinnacle of the bespoke bridal journey, the moment when months of artistry, craftsmanship, and meticulous refinement culminate in a gown created exclusively for you. Every sketch, fitting, and thoughtful adjustment has led to this extraordinary unveiling, resulting in a one of a kind garment designed to celebrate your wedding day in the most beautiful way.

The final presentation is often filled with emotion. Suddenly, the wedding day feels real. As you step into your completed couture gown, there is a profound sense of confidence, beauty, and anticipation. For bride Liz, this moment was no exception. Seeing her vision fully realized for her second wedding look was both moving and unforgettable, a reflection of her personal style brought to life with exquisite precision.

The final fitting is our opportunity to ensure every element meets and surpasses expectations. We also guide your chosen guests through the important finishing touches of the wedding day, from properly dressing and fastening the gown to mastering the bustle and creating that perfect train fluff before you make your walk down the aisle.

It is the final chapter of the design process and the beginning of your wedding story.

Part V: Finishing the Gown

Following Liz’s first fitting in her custom wedding reception dress, no additional fittings were needed. While every bride’s journey is unique in number of fittings, this allowed us to move into the final stage: the finishing details.

Although designed as a second look for her wedding day, every detail was completed with the same level of care and craftsmanship. From hand-stitching lace appliqués and hand-finishing the waistband to adding personalized embroidery hidden inside the gown, each element was thoughtfully created to make the dress uniquely hers.

The finishing stage is always one of my favorite parts of the process. It is where countless hours of design and craftsmanship come together, and the anticipation of seeing a bride’s reaction begins to build. Watching a bride light up when she sees her completed custom gown for the first time is a feeling that never gets old and it’s what inspires me to perfect every last detail. 🪡
