Sew Craz'E November events are on the horizon!
Saturday November 7th we are hosting a cutting party to make kits out of our flannel and other fabric stash so that we will be ready to sew in the New Year. We will start at 9-3 or 4. Come all day or stay for an hour or 2- your choice.
Join us on November 21st & 22nd for our monthly meeting at 10 am followed by our sleep in your bed retreat. For our new members- we have an open sew weekend a couple times a year where you can set up your machine and sew away the weekend. Bring food to share or order out! Also bring 6 assorted fat quarters (any color) for left right center games, 2-3 fat quarters in a brown bag with your name inside the bag (so its anonymous) for our anything goes brown bag swap (due in January). If you plan to be at the sleep in your bed retreat, please message me (Missy) to sign up so we have an idea of how many will be stitching that weekend- we will have to share tables so it will be cozy!
November 1st is the due date for your Festival of Tree donations- you can drop them off at our sewing studio during the day or on Wed/Fri evenings 5-7:30. there will be a doorbell, or you can text Renee (Wednesday) or Michele (Friday). Door locks at 5:10pm so you will need to text or use the doorbell to get in. If you arrive before 5 you can get into the room yourself too.
NEW-- Thursday morning sew group- Kathy (Kats Fabric Korner) is leading an open sew day in our studio from 9-noon. Cost is $38 for 6 months or $5 per day drop in- as long as there is room. If someone else would like to co organize this reach out to Kathy.
Before you know it our annual Christmas Party will be here. Who will be best dressed this year? Reminder that you have until December to bring in a UFO to share for show and tell to be entered into a drawing. 3 fat quarters- red, green and white and Yankee swap $20 value.
