I’ve been building up a little painting collection for Austin Avenue Art Fair in a few weeks! It’s been lovely having this cooler weather around. It’s a bit gray too, which I welcome. I’m still finding my way with washy gouache, we’re not close friends yet.

I always like to try to fit all my soft sculptures on one page in Layouts before a show. It’s like a very soft and specific game of Tetris. These guys will all be The Woodlands Arts Council tomorrow for the Texas Fine Craft, Art, and Design show and the hangers on will be with me for the rest of my fall season: Bayou City Art Festival , Red River Revel Arts Festival , Austin Avenue Art Fair

I’m excited to share them with you all! Also, I have 22 but only count 21 here! I lose!

his buddies, then opens his sun purse full of art supplies and paints his heart out.
