Richard and I just got back from our adventure in the Czech Crystal Valley! Had an amazing time! I'll post updates here once I've had a bit of time to recover from my journey.

We’re at the Pearlex factory this morning. We split into groups to take turns touring the factory and shopping the warehouse.

Glass Pearl Factory - Post 3 of 3.

Richard here. Rebecca had to escape to the parking lot because the fumes from the paint room were giving her a headache.

We're at the Pearlex factory this morning. The beads start as bulk round beads in white, black, or clear glass. Next the beads are strung onto the dying line.

After they're strung, they're separated and glued in place.

Next step is dipping. That's what's happening in the video in this post. They get four coats of color and then one finishing coat. They are allowed to dry in between each coat.

The final step is they are removed from the dying line and packaged for sale.
