I realized I never actually shared the finished quilt that I made from a kit using Allegory line that I picked up at Quilt Con! šŸ’œ

I donā€™t usually make kits, but sometimes you just want a project for fun without the quilt math and thinking and thatā€™s just what this was!!

I made it the week I got home, then took a little longer to quilt and took way longer to photograph. But alas, here it is and it has earned a permanent spot on my couch!

Best resource I've found when using 1 1/2 inch squares in patchwork! gridded fusible interfacing! Cuts down time and helps with precision!

I think the quilting on this one is taking longer than the actual quilt top assembly! It's worth it though!!

This quilt was made for a family member who lost a loved one. Now his old t-shirts can be wrapped around his sister instead of shoved away or donated. What a special gift!!
