I had wanted flower arrangements to be part of the shop when I envisioned it…however a few pitfalls and roadblocks kept me from adding fresh flowers to the shop. So, instead I thought I’d try my hand at sola wood flower arrangements. These arrangements are everlasting and I can make them in an array of colors and themes for all seasons.

These two arrangements will be in the shop tomorrow and if there’s interest, I’ll continue to add more!

There must be something special about York Corner 😊

Voted a top 5 gift shop and home decor shop, Circa Home Living || Noel & Verge ~ Shopkeepers is located at 18 York St and full of primitive and colonial decor.

And diagonally across Route 1 is us, York Corner Mercantile at 484 Route 1. We’re named a top 5 antique shop in Maine (but we’re so much more than antiques). 2 floors jam packed with vintage finds and locally-made goods!

So hit one shop on one way and the other on your trip back! You’ll be glad you did!

I 10000% could not have taken this leap and opened up this shop if it weren’t for my amazing boyfriend aka my forever Employee of the Month. He has worked tirelessly around the shop, installed things, fixed things, been my head of security, ran snacks over for me, and gotten up at the crack of dawn so we can check out yard sales together, just to name a few things. His support is endless and very much appreciated 🤗

And in honor of his birthday today, I’m graciously giving him the day off (from this job at least 🤣).
