I started the year off with a latte class at

Being a beginner is so fun and humbling at the same time. I had amazing teachers and they explained the pouring method in a way that actually made sense.

Looking forward to being a beginner more often this year.

Also felt inspired to write a letter to myself in honor of the new year.

A day in 2026 written as poetry and prophecy

A sprinkle of Sunday glittered across this day.

Your chest has the spaciousness to take in full breaths and let out a lion’s rawr.

Your words spill out in your daily pages so you can rewrite the pathways in your brain and body.

Life carries an ease you have yet to feel until now.

This is the year you allow others the honor of loving you.

You eat, sleep, and breathe resiliency in the face of uncertainty, inconvenience, and utter devastation.

You love without hesitation or expectation of reciprocity. You overflow with so much love and gratitude that it becomes impossible for anyone or anything to steal your inner smile.

You do it imperfectly and still feel proud of your effort. You keep your eyes on your path and only look right and left long enough to celebrate others’ wins or encourage them in their losses.

You read and write more than you swipe and scroll.

This is the year you stop moving the goalpost and begin celebrating every little win. You feel the gentleness of life despite the crookedness of humanity. You meet the people who draw out of you what has been overprotected for far too long.

You become freedom and peace tangled up like lovers in silk sheets.

Let it be so.

Ran into a coworker and petted sooooo many cute dogs!!!

This town has welcomed and I’m so grateful for the kindness and support. I love sharing my art with others. Looking forward to my final pop up of the year on Saturday
