Reasons to donate to PopCycle instead of big box thrift stores:
----- 1. It's easier than you think --------->
I get it. Donating takes planning, time, and effort. First the bags sit by the door, then they move to the trunk of the car, where they live for another three weeks (or more!).
We've made it easy:
🚗 Drop off: Drive up and unload during our donation drop-off days, just before the sale.
🏡 Even easier: Book a porch pickup! It takes about 30 seconds to fill out the form. We'll send you a reminder email. Just leave your items on the porch by 9am on pickup day.

----- 2. Give your stuff a second life, right here in our community. ---------->
✨Some items donated to big box thrift stores are resold locally. But not everything makes it onto the racks, and even second-hand prices can be a barrier for some families.
✨ PopCycle is pay-what-you-can, helping more local families access good-quality pre-loved kids' clothes, shoes, books (and tiny toys!)
✨Your outgrown stuff can become someone else's new favourite. 💚
----- 3. You're supporting a little local initiative with a big circular-economy dream. ♻️ ---------->
✨Every donation helps make that happen. And the more our community gets involved, the more we can do together.
Of course, PopCycle isn't the only good option! 💚
✨ Friends and family? Amazing. Especially if you've got kids at perfectly staggered stages. Pass those bags along!
✨ Local charities and initiatives? Also great. Local community organizations do important work and can also benefit from donations (e.g. St Vincent de Paul, Interval house, and so many more!). Just check what they accept and when.
