Our phenomenal work at the Textilecollective generally comes with some pretty strict non disclosures, which after years in the industry we’re very used to.
We’ve been fortunate to aid a costume department on a very exciting new production.
It calls for a classic, sophisticated aesthetic, days of old, it was an easy pick.

Our Yarn dyed Silk Tussah Suiting is perhaps the most elegant suiting fabric we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with.
The work of textile geniuses, drenched in eons of tradition & skill, beautifully crafted with Ahimsa or Peace Silk as its otherwise known.

Fabrics such as this are usually much heavier, ours appears heavy but is actually a much more comfortable medium weight fabric.

This warm, breathable fabric holds structural stability whilst still maintaining a soft deep drape, these beautifully qualities combined with a relaxing textural touch, creates a mesmerising luxurious textile.

Crafted using yarns that are dyed before weaving produces an amazing depth of colour, adding to this already character filled fabric.

We’re not quite there yet, but there’s definitely a hint of spring in the air, this is when a lot of our customers start gearing up for their busy season.

For many of our customers it’s time to start dyeing & printing, getting stocks ready for a hopefully a very busy spring into summer season.

Its been a huge few weeks, along with a handful of other projects that as a team we’ve been ticking off, we were beyond thrilled to get our beautiful giant lampshades finished & carefully packed on their way to location.

We’re fortunate over the years to have pulled together a team of incredibly talented & passionate people, it makes doing projects like this so much easier & above all fun.

With majority of the hard work done, we can now get started on the table lamps.
