A Good Vintage Made in NZ items, from curated retro and vintage fabrics. Entwined with my mother’s pioneer roots and practical can do attitude I became me.

I wondered on what I wanted most in life and only to be happy seemed most important to me and in moments of solitude and reflection I asked myself what it was that actually made me happy, it was in fact creativity! My name is Maree Leet, born in the early 60s in the mighty Waikato I was blessed with an inquiring mind partly thanks to my father who was a rock hunter and a glass blower. A Good Vinta

ge clothing is a reflection of that creativity and practicality. It incorporates making the most of what we have from existing materials to construct a garment that is as individual as you. Re-discovered vintage fabric is lovingly created into one off designs. Women’s, dresses, skirts and tops in both contemporary and traditional designs. Each piece of fabric is carefully chosen for its texture, design and weight and then lovingly finished into a garment that is exclusive. My garments are hand finished and I utilize recycled haberdashery where possible. You will often find glass and period buttons that complete the finished product. Be a good girl and hand wash these collectors pieces, dry inside out in the shade, cool iron when necessary. Now open by appointment, please text or call me on 021935395
