6’3” flax cloth over EPS foam custom for Mike Layne.
Mike wanted this board to last, so we decided on a full flax cloth construction with 6oz over the top on both sides. The extra weight will help dampen the chatter you can sometimes get from EPS foam, especially in bigger or windy, choppy surf. Happy surfing mate🤙

Here’s a little clip of me laminating an epoxy over polyester blank. It is a custom flat deck twin plus one for Andrew Tyson Andrew has the exact board in a standard polyester construction and wanted to try out the epoxy skin to feel the difference. Happy surfing mate!

Sometimes we get asked to build surfcraft that’s a little outside what we normally make. This custom is one of those.
After a serious injury, Justin can no longer stand-up surf, so he came to us with an idea: a 5’2” paipo that would be fast, responsive, and built for getting barreled.
Here’s what we came up with.
5’2” × 19” × 2 3/4” — 32L
